Elon Musk and his partner, Shivon Zilis, have welcomed their fourth child, a baby boy named Seldon Lycurgus. Zilis announced the news on X, expressing excitement over their new arrival.
“Discussed with Elon and in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our incredible son Seldon Lycurgus. Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold. Love him so much,” she wrote.
The Tesla and SpaceX CEO now has 14 children with four different women. Musk and Zilis, a director at Neuralink, first became parents together in November 2021, secretly welcoming twins Strider and Azure. Their third child, Arcadia, was born on February 28, 2024, one year before Seldon’s birth announcement.
Musk’s growing family has sparked public curiosity, especially concerning the relationships between the mothers of his children. In addition to his four children with Zilis, Musk has five children—twins Vivian and Griffin, and triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian—with his ex-wife, Justine Wilson. His first child, Nevada Alexander, tragically passed away at 10 weeks old.
He also shares three children with musician Grimes: son X Æ A-12, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, and son Techno Mechanicus, known as Tau. In September 2023, Zilis and Grimes publicly addressed their relationship after a reported misunderstanding. “At the end of the day, it all ended up for the best!” Zilis wrote on X, calling Grimes “a total badass” and looking forward to future playdates.
Meanwhile, Musk is also facing legal scrutiny regarding another alleged child. Writer Ashley St. Clair claimed on February 14 that Musk fathered her five-month-old son, R.S.C. “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she wrote on X. Her representative later confirmed that the two had been privately working on a parenting arrangement. On February 28, a judge ordered Musk to appear in court on May 29 regarding custody matters.
