Brad Arnold, the lead singer of the American rock band 3 Doors Down, has announced that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 clear cell renal cell carcinoma, a type of kidney cancer that has metastasized to his lungs.

In an emotional video shared on Instagram on May 7, Arnold, 46, revealed that he had been feeling unwell and was hospitalized, leading to the diagnosis. Despite the severity of his condition, Arnold expressed a positive outlook, stating, “I really, sincerely am not scared of it at all,” attributing his strength to his faith in God.

As a result of his diagnosis, 3 Doors Down has canceled their upcoming summer tour, which was scheduled to begin on May 15 in Daytona Beach, Florida, and included performances alongside Creed and other bands.
