Rapper Boosie Badazz is preparing to welcome his ninth child in signature lavish style. The Baton Rouge native, known for his flashy lifestyle and outspoken personality, hosted a baby shower on Saturday (April 5) with his fiancée Rajel Nelson to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their daughter, Sevyn.

Themed “Showering Sevyn,” the event was a family affair, with some of Boosie’s children in attendance, including daughter and rising rapper Iviona Hatch, also known as Poison Ivi. In a surprise gesture, Boosie presented Nelson with a white BMW SUV as a “push gift”—a popular tradition where partners gift expecting mothers ahead of childbirth. The sleek Beamer offers ample room for their growing family and reflects Boosie’s well-known affection for high-end cars.

Boosie proposed to Nelson in November 2023, and just a year later, the couple revealed they were expecting a girl during the rapper’s 42nd birthday celebration. Sharing moments from the shower on social media, Boosie captioned one post: “#BABYSHOWER #familytime ALMOST THAT TIME TO POP OUT LITTLE GIRL ‘PUSH GIFT’ BEAMER FOR THE BABY TOO.”

Known as much for his parenting drama as for his music, Boosie has a history of giving—and sometimes repossessing—lavish cars for his kids. In January, he gifted daughter Lyric Hatch a Porsche for her 16th birthday. However, he once repossessed a Mercedes-Benz from another daughter, Toriana Hatch, after a fallout reportedly involving a child support dispute. Boosie later featured the car in his “Ungrateful” music video, trolling Toriana after she allegedly cursed at him.
