Pitch Perfect star Anna Camp may have a new love in her life, and fans are taking notice. The actress, 41, is stirring speculation after sharing a heartfelt Instagram story originally posted by on-set stylist Jade Whipkey, hinting at a blossoming romance between the two.
Whipkey’s original post featured a poetic caption alongside a photo of Anna Camp dining out: “Her smile is a poem / Her eyes are roses / Her laugh is music for dancing.” Camp reposted the image to her own Instagram Stories, adding a burning heart emoji and tagging Whipkey, a move many fans interpreted as a romantic confirmation.
Further fueling the rumors, Anna Camp included a photo of Whipkey in an Instagram slideshow on March 28 with the caption, “Happiness lately happening.” Whipkey commented under the post, writing, “Big time happy,” alongside affectionate emojis. The two have also exchanged several sweet interactions on social media, with Whipkey calling Camp an “angel” and frequently using heart-eyed and flame emojis.
Online sleuths also uncovered a February TikTok video from the account @Mr.Big.USA featuring both women in a candid and humorous discussion about their dating histories. In the video, Camp refers to Whipkey as “babe,” and later states, “I don’t expect anything anymore because I’m dating a woman and it’s great,” while reflecting on what she looks for in a first date.
Camp goes on to challenge traditional relationship expectations, particularly those she grew up with in the South. “To be happy, you have to be married to a guy with children,” she says, labeling the idea a “conspiracy.” Whipkey responds supportively, “Okay, that was deep, babe!”
Representatives for Camp have yet to comment on the relationship, but the series of public exchanges and appearances has certainly sparked fan excitement.
Previously, Camp was married to Scrubs and Ozark actor Michael Mosley from 2010 to 2013. She later wed her Pitch Perfect co-star Skylar Astin in 2016, with the couple divorcing in 2019.
Anna Camp is set to return to the big screen soon, appearing in Bridesmaids opposite Rebel Wilson on June 20 and also joining the cast of Scream 7. She recently appeared in the final season of Netflix’s You.
