Active Shooter Alert at USC Thomas Cooper Library in Columbia: Suspect Still at Large
The University of South Carolina’s Thomas Cooper Library in Columbia is currently under an active shooter alert issued by local authorities on August 24th. The alert was activated at 6:40 p.m. following reports of an active shooter on campus.
The suspect is described as a 6-foot tall white male wearing black pants and remains at large. In response to the situation, police are actively searching for the individual.
